1. Introduction
Within the European Union the processing of personal data is subject to strict legal requirements. We, Stadtgemeinde Wolfsberg, take our responsibility as a controller of personal data very seriously and do our best not only to keep your data safe, but also to transparently provide you with all relevant information as to why and how we collect, process and store any such data. 1.1. Processing of Personal Data
Personal Data (hereinafter also simply referred to as “data”) means information relating to a person whose identity is or can be identified (e.g.: name, contact information, invoice details, IP address).
As per Art 4 para 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, or General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR"), "processing" refers to any operation or set of operations such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment, or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not.

The following privacy policy is intended to inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for the processing of personal data either under our own control or in conjunction with others.
2. Information about our Data Processing
2.1. Processing of Personal Data
We process your data in different ways depending on whether you are using our streaming-platform
- as a public user without login, or
- as a logged in user.
If we provide a contact option through an input screen on our website, streaming-platform or support-portal, this communication is encrypted through use of the https protocol. Please note that the confidentiality of other communications on the Internet, in particular via email is not guaranteed, and we therefore recommend not transmitting confidential data and information by email.
2.1.1. Use of the platform as a public user without login
We only process personal data insofar as it is necessary due to technical reasons. Particularly, the processing of your IP-address is necessary for the delivery of any requested data to your browser.
For technical reasons, specific additional data and information must be collected and stored for visits to our websites, e.g. websites used, time and duration of visit and data made available by the used browser (e.g. on the operating system and used system settings). We use such data and information anonymously in order to design our offer in a user-friendly way and technically optimize our offer. The web server is located in Austria. The data is not used to personally identify visitors of this website.
We therefore process your personal data either
- to take steps prior to entering into a contract or to fulfil our contractual obligations (Art 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR) within the scope of the attorney client relationship,
- to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR), i.e., to ensure the operation, the security, and the optimised performance of our website and our online-portal in order to provide a functional and user-friendly environment or
- to fulfil our legal and professional obligations (Art 6 para. 1 letter c GDPR).
2.1.2. Use of the platform as a logged in user
We only process personal data insofar as it is necessary due to technical reasons. Particularly, the processing of your IP-address is necessary for the delivery of any requested data to your browser as is the processing and storage of your user credentials (e-mail-address) including your password, in order to ensure the platform security and proper authentication of your user account.

We use such data and information anonymously in order to design our offer in a user-friendly way and technically optimize our offer. The web server is located in Austria. 2.2. Data Processor
The aforementioned processing of personal data is carried out on our behalf by Streamdiver GmbH, Lakeside B06, 9020 Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, Austria, as processor within the meaning of Art 28 GDPR on the basis of a written data processing agreement. Any personal data is therefore transferred to Streamdiver GmbH and processed by it on our behalf.
2.3. Cookies
To a limited extent our streaming-platform makes use of so called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files or codes, which contain information units. These text files are stored on your hard drive or in the main memory of your browser if you visit one of our websites.
We exclusively make use of cookies that are necessary for the functioning of our platform and which are only stored for the duration of your visit (session cookies). These cookies are necessary to allow you to use our websites as intended and make all functions available to you. Without such cookies the requested services cannot be provided. These cookies do not record information about you and do not store Internet locations. Absolutely necessary cookies cannot be deactivated on our site. However, they can be deactivated at any time on the browser that you use. However, in this case it may happen that not all functions of our websites can be used in full.
2.4. Analytics
The streaming-platform makes use of a web analytics service operated by Streamdiver GmbH on our behalf. We do not use any tracking cookies in this regard.
Our analytics service only collects anonymized data, which are stored and used in order to analyse the use of our platform. This allows us to optimize our portal as well as our content. Your IP address is also immediately anonymized in this operation, meaning that you remain anonymous to us.
Should you provide personal data or information on our websites, we can continue to use them within the framework of the legal requirements of TKG [Telecommunications Act] without your further consent. Use for advertising or marketing purposes, or transfer to third parties, which requires your separate prior consent, shall be exempt from this.
2.5. Third Party Websites
Our website may contain links to other websites. The data processing practices and the content of such other websites are governed by the privacy policy of the respective website. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any such other website to understand the data processing practices of the respective third party. We are generally not responsible for contents offered on these external sites, both with regard to data protection and to the technical security of the data and information provided. Please note in this context that external providers use technologies for personalization of advertising.
3. How long will your data be stored?
We will only store your data for as long as it is required for the purpose for which they have been collected. In most cases this will only be for the duration of the respective session. After 12 months, at the latest, any personal data will be deleted or anonymized.
Due to legal requirements with regard to time bars/statutes of limitations and evidentiary purposes the time data related to client attorney relationships will be stored my correspond to the respective statute of limitations.
4. Your Rights?
We would furthermore like to inform you that you have the right, at all times,
- to request information concerning the processing of your data (see Art 15 GDPR for details),
- the right to have your data corrected or erased (see Art 16 GDPR for details),
- the right to restrict the processing of your data (see Art 18 GDPR for details),
- the right to object to the processing of your data (see Art 21 GDPR for details), and
- the right to data portability (see Art 20 GDPR for details).
If we process your data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by sending a request via email or via mail to the address specified below. Your withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of the data processing that was conducted prior to the withdrawal (Art 7 para. 3 GDPR).
If, contrary to expectations and despite our obligation to process your data lawfully, your right to the lawful processing of your data is violated, please inform us of your concerns via mail or email (see contact information below) so that we can resolve the issue. You also have the right, however, to file a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority or with another data protection supervisory authority in the EU, particularly in the country in which you reside or work.
